How To Reduce Cellular Data Usage - Android

*Please note that there are many versions of Android and yours may not look exactly the same as the screenshots provided. That being said the steps are very similar among most versions.*




Step 1.

Locate your “Settings” app and open it.



Step 2.
Tap on the “Data Usage” option.



Step 3.
Tap on the “Cellular Data Usage” option.



Step 4.
Scroll through your list of apps and tap on the one you wish to disable cellular data for.



Step 5.
Tap the button next to the “Background data” option.



Step 6.

Cellular data should now be disabled for this app.
